Despite the absence of a clear Quorum, a Vote was taken to accept the Minutes of the Business Session from 10th September 2019 that had been circulated to all Club Members in the week prior.. The Motion to accept the Minutes was put by Kate C and seconded by Alex L and passed unanimously.

The Club has been experimenting with evolving layouts of how best to utilise our new Venue space. This is our third variation and is working better overtime. At this meeting we decided to shoot a general Club Welcome image that will be used on our new FaceBook Page and our updated Website Welcome Page.

Executive Business Session:

Prior to formal written notification and correspondence received we conducted a formal business Session presided over by President John H who handed parliamentray control of the session to Immediate Past President Peter C.

Formal Minutes were taken by Secretary Sonya D. and later distributed to all Members.

A Quorum was called and formal Motions and Amendments presented and discussed covering the 3 previously raised Fee structure options.

The result of subsequent voting was that Option One (The delayed Grace Period option) be implemented.

WORLD TRAVELLERS

While Immediate Past President Peter and his wife Kate were travelling in Turkey they attended a Toastmaster Meeting during their travels but Kate also managed to take a Location Shot with her Toastmaster Magazine in Istanbul.

The 3 options and respective Budgets were presented to the Club for further discussion. 

A]. A Grace Period: New Fees to start from April 2020

B]. Partial Increase; Starting in October 2019 followed by another increase in April 2020

C] User Pays: Fees remain static with a $5.00 Levy for Attendees at all meetings starting October 2019.

More discussion ensued and was deferred with minor amendments to the next meeting.

THIS IS THE INAUGURAL MEETING OF CONCORD WEST CLUB IN OUR NEW VENUE AT PRON PROHM THAI RESTAURANT NORTH STRATHFIELD.

A special thanks to our Host Deryck and for the fabulous array of finger food that is provided by your excellent staff as part of our room hire arrangements.

Treasurer Alex L and President John H presented the outcome and Draft Budget from the recent Club Executive Meeting based on the single Option decided by the Executive. It was robustly discussed and the Executive was asked to represent all 3 Options that were discussed at the following meeting.
