SOCIAL NIGHT

We held our second Social Night by popular vote at the old Concord Bowling Club in Concord.

A great turnout enjoyed the fun of doing something relatively new for most of us and the opportunity to chat and have lots of laughs.

While some of us might have got a bit competitive, the star turn for the night was Mario who is an experienced player and was a popular choice for a Team pick.

Member Spotlight

A new initiative by our Club Vice President Public relations is to record some Member Spotlight Videos where Member of the Club are Interviewed about their experiences and challenges in the course of their Toastmaster journey.

Rather fittingly, Melody chose recent Phillip Division Runner Up in the International Speech Contest Sonya Dankha to be interviewed by Immediate Past president John Hughson DTM.

CLUB MEMBER MELODY LIANG RUNNER UP IN CENTRAL DIVISION INTERNATIONAL SPEECH CONTEST

 Concord West Toastmasters is always proud of of Members who compete and contribute successfully in other Toastmaster arenas.

On 25th March our Vice President Public Relations Melody Liang competed in the Central Division International Speech Contest representing her other Club, Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) Toastmasters with her speech "Decent to Victory"

Melody took out a very well deserved Runner Up Award.
