The meeting was advised that President Omer had resigned from the Club for personal reasons and this had left the role of President vacant.

It was announced that the Executive had asked Immediate Past President John H to take on that role in the interim.

A quorum of active members was required (and present) to either take other nominations or ratify that appointment in a Vote.

A point of order was raised by Philip B raising the issue of a one meeting notice be given.

Secretary Daniel T will distribute an email seeking other nominations by the next meeting.
