TABLE TOPICS PANEL AT REVERSBY TOASTMASTERS
On Thursday 26th August, (Concord West Club President) Lana was invited to participate in a panel on Table Topics at Revesby Toastmasters. Lana was joined by two other Toastmasters, Mike Smith and Steve Howard.
Katie Yang (District Instagram Administrator) served as the panellist Host as part of her Level 5 Pathways Project.
Immediate Past President Harini was also in attendance.
Lana was asked the following questions:
What should you not do in a Table Topic?
How does impromptu speaking help you outside TM (give us an example)?
What are the Table Topic tips that you have received which were not useful (or the tips you will not give to our audience)?
Other questions asked included:
1. Tell us something about your TM journey in 3 words (everyone)
2. Can you share with us the basics/general tips of answering an impromptu question? (Steve)?
3. Tell me an awkward experience when you answered a TT/impromptu question?
