It was announced that due to late withdrawals from the Humorous Contest the Club Humorous Speech Contest would be deferred to the next meeting on the 13^th September in 3 weeks time. But the Table Topics Contest would proceed as planned.

• ·      Humorous Speech Contest will replace the normal Prepared Speech segment and will be conducted under Contest Conditions
• ·      Area 6 Humorous & Table Topics Contest – Saturday 24^th September 2016
• ·      Burwood RSL Club – 12:30 Briefing for 1:00pm Start
• ·      All Members Welcome and this year there is nor admission Charge
