'THE CONCORD'

The lavishly renovated Concord Club on the site of the Concord RSL

A small but enthusiastic group of members gathered at the recently opened Concord Club on the site of our long standing Meeting Venue (formerly the Concord RSL to enjoy an evening of informal fellowship and food.

After the festivities we had a brief inspection of the newly renovated facilities including the Boardroom (where we hope to reconvene our meeting) and the Function Rooms, which would make an ideal venue for Area and Division Contests.

We are currently in communication and negotiation with the Concord Club to reinstate our regular face to face meetings back at the new venue.

Concord West Toastmasters can trace our connection with the site (as the Concord RSL) back to the early 90's if not earlier, having met there continuously right up until 2 weeks prior to its closure in 2019.
