Fellow Club Member Heather Gordon helped out on the stall a few days later.
It was an interesting experiment that collected over 100 interested peoples details
from the very broad spectrum of the market.

PHILIP DIVISION CONTEST – SATURDAY 6th APRIL 2019

The first ever all day Phillip Division Contest was a great success. Held at the new Brighton Lakes Recreation and Golf Club in Moorebank all 4 Contests were conducted in the one day.
Concord West was admirably represented by:
John Hughson – Table Topics Contest – Unplaced
Daniel Tucker – Humorous Speech Contest – Unplaced
Philip Bendeich – International Speech Contest – 3rd Place
Philip Bendeich – Evaluation Contest – 3rd Place
Philip also competed in the Table Topics Contest on behalf of Ashfield Toastmasters and again was placed 3rd.
Philip’s three Thirds would have to be some sort of record in itself.
Concord West was also represented by Lyndal Eager Tucker and Daniel Tucker setting all the Competitors up on the Sound Team all day.
Plus Harini Sundaramurthy, Sonya Danka and Lans Shaba volunteered for roles as Counters assisting throughout the day.
