CONCORD WEST CLUB WELL REPRESENTED AT THE 2013 PHILLIP DIVISION CONTEST

With the disappointment that work commitments prevented Farzad our Clud and Area 6 Humorous Speech Winner from going onto represent Concord West at the Phillip Division Contest.
It was fabulous news when we were advised that Heather who was Runner Up in the Area 6 Table Topics Contest was asked to stand in for the Area 6 Winner from Smooth Speech Club, who was at the last minute also unable to compete.
Heather supported by Philip, Daniel and Lyndal travelled to Mittagong at the further extremity of Phillip Division and acquitted herself with distinction taking out the Runner Up position in the Phillip Division Table Topics Contest 2013, joining an ever growing list of Concord West successes.
Well done Heather.

Presentation – Long standing Club Member Paul was presented with his ‘umpteenth’ Competent Communicator Certificate. Paul has accumulated numerous Competent Communicator Awards over his almost ten years in the Club for completing the 10 set speech exercises in the Competent Communicator Manual. In addition Paul has also achieved numerous Advanced Communicator Awards as well. Always learning.
